Field of Work / Infrastructure Integrity
Domain 05Infrastructure Integrity
Surveying the ground beneath built assets — before construction and across their life — to catch voids, settlement and deterioration early.
Assets are only as sound as their ground
Roads, rails, bridges, dams, foundations and pipelines all sit on ground that changes. Voids open, layers settle, water moves. Non-invasive surveys map these conditions before construction and track them across an asset's life, catching problems while they're still cheap to fix.
The result is a maintenance and risk picture grounded in measurement rather than inspection intervals — repair what's actually deteriorating, when it actually needs it.
Condition-based maintenance beats calendar-based maintenance — but only if you can see the condition.
Typical applications
- Pre-construction ground and utility surveys
- Void and settlement detection under assets
- Dam, embankment and foundation monitoring
- Lifecycle integrity and risk assessment
